Just make sure to get a good quality one...I believe TJ's has one. Oh no, true vanilla extract is a flavoring, not a sweetener. Just make sure to get a good quality one…I believe TJ’s has one.

Keep in mind, most of those almond milks have added sugars (cane juice, or other aliases) @Nik - both Robb and Mat seem to be fans of the cultured coconut milk from So Delicious despite the questionable ingredient or two. Perhaps the culturing process negates the potential issues or the pro/prebiotic benefit outweighs any downside? @Holley – What had you heard to make you think vanilla wasn’t allowed, and why?

If it is, there are plenty of tasty recipes that I've been missing out on! I have been trying almond milk in my coffee...it's not thick like half and half, but it's better than just coffee. Good luck today Avelyne, I can't wait to hear about your PRs! I didn’t think vanilla was paleo? If it is, there are plenty of tasty recipes that I’ve been missing out on!

Nik. Marcus - went through a whole container of the So Delish coconut milk, not bad but I agree with your blog, not so fond of the ingredients either. What's a better brand? Not bad, but nowhere as thick as the recipe sounds. Tried this, didn’t quite turn out like pictured. Not bad, but nowhere as thick as the recipe sounds.
