CrossFit fosters a community based on integrity, quantitative gains, camaraderie, and humility.  It does this simply by utilizing a whiteboard.  Before the WOD begins, your name is already on the board: a blank slate.  Naked.  You know that your performance will be etched on the board for all to see.  You want it to be a time you are proud of, a time you can look at and know that you pushed yourself to your very limits, a time that reflects legit range of motion and integrity.

Tomorrow, Alia and Holley step into the arena and have their names on a much greater whiteboard–one where multiple CrossFit communities are represented.   It takes great courage to go up against yourself and test your mettle and these ladies are up for the task.  I’m so proud of you both and how much you have accomplished these last few months alone.  It’s been awesome watching your gains, seeing you push, and witnessing you grow into great role models for other ladies in the gym.

Come on out to the OC Marketplace in Costa Mesa at tomorrow and cheer on Alia & Holley!  We’ll have a pop up but bring lawn chairs, water, sunscreen and food!
